I live on a tight budget and grow the majority of my own produce. The Food Saver is THE MOST IMPORTANT TOOL I own to help me preserve my fruits, veggies and herbs in the freezer long past harvest. It also allows me to purchase my meats and fish in bulk without fear of freezer burn. The Food Saver extends the freezer life of all my food. Awesome for cheeses, too. PLUS the FS is fun and easy to use. (:

The multi pack starter kit is a very good value and great for the person just starting out with a sealer and also for those of us who have been using a sealer for years. I can always use different sizes of bags as well as the new
portion bags. The pre-made bags are useful when I don't have the extra time to measure and make a certain size bag.

Boy have they come a long way. I had one of the originals and have to admit, I stopped using it because of cost and it didn't work that great. Just got one as a gift and WOW! It is awesome. I am now thinking of using it for Church events so I can bake and freeze so we alsways have something in the fridge.

For a new FoodSaver customer who isn't sure of which accessories to order in bulk, this is a great idea! You can try some of each and then watch out for future sales and stock up! Each piece of this box is very versatile and has many uses; all are easy to use.

Saves room in the freezer, and look forward to seeing how fresh the vegetable will taste in the winter. Wish the cost of the bags were not so high so I could use it even more on various thing. So far I'm happy with the purchase and would recommend.

I took advantage of an email offer, only to have 1/2 the order shipped. I called upon reciept of items and was told they were on a first come first serve basis. That was fine; however, my girlfriend took advantage of the same offer, after I told her about the promotion. She recieved her full order; I was told they were out of the product, when in fact they had some available. I just recieved the rest of my order; was a little unhappy with the customer service.

This has been my second food saver. I have enjoyed the products. However, I have tried the marinade container and had poor results in the past of cracking in the corner areas of the plastic container. One I made the mistake of putting it in the dishwasher but the replacement I was very protecting with and this still happened. I feel they are too expensive to experment with again.

I appreciate having a variety of choices as I use my Food Saver not just for food but for decreasing volume when mailing to our children in Germany. When ever I find a deal on a Food Saver I try to buy it for another family member. Two of my grandchildren received a gift of one for their birthdays. Multiple uses are wonderful, I am a penny pincher from way back.

The system works well to properly contain and preserve foods before freezing. The packages are not really reusable and that is unfortunate. There is a minor problem with making sure there is no food residual in the section of the film to be sealed. Overall the system and film is quite functional and allows the user to buy at a cheaper price in bulk.

I received my Food Saver machine as a gift for Christmas and I have used it several times since then. This assortment of bags is a great value. I love the portioned roll - sealing up a meal without certain things touching each other is a huge plus in my book! I love the microwave cooking bags, also. Sure helps make meal-preparation go smoothly.

I've been using many of these products for years and ran out just as the canning and drying season were getting under way. So when I saw a 30% sale I checked out what was available and bought some things I'd never tried before and some reliable old friends. I love the convenience and quick sealing all the bags offer me.

I like the bags, except for the 2 in 1. I feel they are 2 small - have a hard time getting food in them, Very hard not to get food around edges where it needs to be sealed. Could not get them to seal while together--had to pull them apart. Not sure if I will get them again, but like the other sizes.

I recently purchased this multi pack and love it; there are several sizes in one box. The material is strong enough to package ribs without puncturing, and its microwavable. I like to cook several meals at a time and freeze them in portions, then just microwave and eat...great for days I work.

Have had my unit for a while now but love to buy the starter pack to refill the sizes, I think it is the best value for the money. Oh, and stay away from local stores, because you get special offers here. I just love my two free canisters i received with my order!

I use my Food Saver everyday and having the multipack gives me options as to what to save my goods in. It is so convenient! It also offers a variety of bags to choose from and if you haven't used a particular one, then you have that opportunity!

thee 8 inch bags serve NO purpose unless you sell marijuana, they are too small and wont hold anything worth wasting the money on. they sit on my shelf in the garage and the pile continues to grow. lets box seperately the 11 inch bags please.

Ordering was easy. Product came quickly. Order was correct. I really needed the rolls to finish prep and storage of so many things. And, I plan to use the marinating container today and can't wait, based on the reviews I read from others.
