I have been wanting this so bad and now I have one and I love it, I use it all the time and so far it seems to work great! However there is 1 thing I hate hate hate about it, when you go to stick the bag inthe bottom to get it sealed, it is a pain in the rear! It is a nightmare to even get it to finally go. Half the time there is too much sealed off and you most certainly can not do a thing about it. I just wish it would have been easier to be able to seal a bag. You slide it in there and nothing, and you move it around and nothing... Then you just happen to get it going and WOW a lot was wasted. Otherwise I love my sealer! I love the look fo it, and all the bag choices!

I think it is a good unit, had some problems with sealing the bags at first, now I got it down pat. we got the jar lids, Marinator work good. we just got the canister set, haven't used yet. so far so good.

I find the FoodSaver V3880 easy to use. I have used the marinate mode for both steak and salmon with excellent results. We always plant a large garden and I am looking forward to using the freeze and microwave bags. The portion bags make it easy to freeze meat and only thaw what I need.

I love the food saver. It works efficiently and is very easy to clean. I have a huge garden and have already vacuumed packed over 50 lbs. of zuchinni and 30 lbs. of yellow squash. Working on freezing green beans, kale, swiss chard and snow peas. I never could have done all of the freezing without the food saver. I love the fact that all of the air is removed so my vegetables will never become freezer burned or have a peculiar taste. I would recommend this product to anyone.

I've only had this a short time but it really is helping me save money on my food bill. I like to buy in bulk for my 3 boys at home and this works perfectly. I love that it does not take up much space on my counter and having it handing to use when needed.

Looks great, doesn't take up a lot of space and easy to use. I cannot wait till the locale farm markets open. I will never buy frozen veggies again. Its just me and the misses so I can buy meat on sale and re-pack it for just us. I big money saver.

I had an older model for many years and it worked great, just wore it out. So I decided to get a new one and the look is greatly improved, but the performance is lacking. It will suck air out and seal about three times, then it is done sucking the air out. The unit also uses a lot more of the bag material for the sealer to function, which is wasteful and expensive. Going to return unit.
