I just started using the Freeze 'n Steam bags for backpacking. Just measure out the dehydrated meals from your bulk purchase of meals (dehydrated meals cut weight and bulk saves money), seal in the Freeze 'n Steam bags (saves space in your backpack and you can see what the meal is without labeling), open the bag on the trail and add boiling water, steep and eat (saves washing bowls and conserves water). Great - convenient and cost effective!

I am on a low carb diet and these bags are wonderful...I put a chicken breast, some veggies,and seasoning. I then seal and freeze them. I grab a bag out of the freezer take it to work and at lunch put in the microwave and cook for 20 min and have a great low carb meal!! I've also used fish and placed a half of a fresh lemond in with it and when it cooks its flavors the fish just right. The steam bags have made it so much easier to stay on the diet and its fun to create your own microwave meals. Thanks

I use these bags at least 3 times a week and I hope they are always available. Even fresh corn-on-the-cob turns out just great. For low fat/low cal healthy food I spray a little no calorie butter spray in the bag with veggies and sprinkle a vegetable seasoning over all and microwave--delicous! I would love to see these bags in a larger size.

These bags are so easy to fill and combine a main entree, with vegetables, and seasonings. A complete meal prepared in advance, ready to travel, and ready to steam cook in the microwave.

I bought these so I could buy and store seasonal vegetables that we don't grow in our garden. I recently found a good deal on asparagus and bought more than usual. I blanched them and stored them in meal size portions.
I just used one last night. The cooking guide is right on the bag, so there is no guessing. The bag saves using another dish for preparation. Also, storing in the vacuum bag and then steaming prevents degradation. The asparagus were great, cooked to perfection!
These bags are definitely a plus!

These are great to have. Didn't even know that they had these until I came on this site and I'm glad that I did. Great size, love the timing chart on each bag so even my daughter can do this without asking! Will definitely order more in the future.

I just got these and and I will be reordering me more. I work late hours and love convenience but also love freshness. I am a gardener so now I can put up my vegges in a very easy to use way.
